This is so sweet. I am in my mid 30s and if I close my eyes I can literally still feel my mom's hands braiding my hair for sports all the way through high school!

I love doing my girls' hair! One is 12 and happily lets me, the 14 yo prefers her own pontails and flat iron but will still let me do a neater French braid than she can do herself.

I have fond memories of my mom french braiding my hair through high school.

I learned to do basic ponytails myself by middle school so I could put my hair up for gym class, but up until that point she definitely styled my hair for me.
