I have bad breath fairly often and I don't have tonsils. They were removed when I was young. How could I have tonsil stones?
I suspect you don't then. My tonsils were removed when I was three. My DH and kids' were not. DD and DH both had tonsil stones. Unbelievably bad breath. I had never even heard of them until three years ago. Google them. You probably have a GERD issue instead.
