Reminds me of the time I was about 25 and brought my date (a very attractive 20 year old female) out with our group of friends. None of the guys cared one bit, but she got plenty of dirty looks from the females in the group.

OP sounds awful. I am ten years younger than my husband and not once have any of his friends been anything other than welcoming and warm, and we all get along great. We have friends who are both younger and older than us, as well. You might be missing out on a great person, as well as losing a good friend.

There are some generational differences. Where sometimes I might get kicked under the table when mentioning something along the lines that something is due to the difference in generations. ie preference in styles and tastes. I think that Adam Sandler movie with Jennifer Aniston made a joke about it too. Where the younger girl was singing to N'Sync or something.
And a lot of it also depends on where someone is in life. Where someone at 25 may not be at the same point of life and mentality as someone ten to fifteen years older. This isn't the case for everybody.
But the differences isn't anything that would cause us to want to exclude the girl from any activities or anything. If anything she's more level headed and has more common sense then the guy she's dating.
Of course there may be generational differences. The problem with OP's approach is her reluctance to associate with anyone different from her little clique. So what if the new girl has a different taste in music? Maybe OP can turn off the Go-Gos for a second and try a little Taylor Swift or Modest Mouse.
OP is glibly discussing the exclusion of one of her husband's friends because his new GF likes different tv shows and music. Its shallow and pathetic.

I kind of understand the OP's point of view. Where there's one couple that we know where the guy is older and the girl is younger than the couple described by the OP. We're associated through the guy.

I love how OP is completely in denial about how she comes across. Her poor husband. Can you imagine being married to someone like this? Or maybe that's where her issues come from. DH is over her mean girl pettiness and she's worried he will see how good he could have it. At least that makes sense.

OP, I think you're the issue. I'm 41 and have some lovely friends in their mid twenties. I also have some lovely friends in their fifties who somehow managed to stomach my company when I was 26.

I am 18 years younger than my husband and get along fine with his friends and family.
My own friends are 10 years older than I am - so I suppose I just tend to gravitate towards that age range.
Clearly life has not taught you very much, OP!
This woman may very well be more mature, knowledgeable and intelligent than you.
