It may be that we as a society now give room for the curiosity that many experience at that age. We allow them to explore openly what many of us in an earlier generation did silently, at camp, in high school, and college. It's developmentally appropriate.
Maybe this is no more than an indication that these girls want to appear open-minded. Whatever the case, whether it's a phase or simply an expression of sisterhood, who cares?
I'm prepared to accept my children's evolving interest in sexual awareness. It's a natural part of growing up.
I care. It's the last thing I want condoned and given to dumb, impressionable young kids as an option.

If you think you can convert someone to gayness you need a lot of educating.
Not true at all. You can definitely convince dumb impressionable kids to try something new to be cool. Young people are pressured into sex like that all the time. Then they get caught up in the gay thing and don't know how to get out of it
OMG this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. So how come we haven't been able to pressure all those gay kids into the straight thing all these years?
I sure hope you don't have gay children, you would be a terrible parent to them.

This is shown to be he case in other primates and mammals as well.
It's kind of like being right handed or left handed. Most people have some kind of ambidextrous ability. A small percentage falls as totally right or left handed.
Sorry, but I believe that humans are evolved well beyond primates and other mammals and thus have some level of discernment associated with their sexual preferences. Or, they at least should.
Well we haven't evolved much out of murder, anger, territoriality, and a whole bunch of other things. Survival and reproduction are basic, biological needs to any creature.
But I guess there's no point in arguing science with someone who doesn't want to understand it. But FWIW, There are social advantages to forming a wide variety of romantic and sexual relationships with your peer group, from a survival standpoint. That would include within the complex social structure that humans have.
Sure, humans can discern but it doesn't change biology. You can also teach a left handed person to write effectively with their right hand. It doesn't make them any left handed from a biological/ physiological standpoint.
