ITS parent here.
SWS? Ross? Although neither has a great MS option and at least ITS has a MS built in.

Kid is in a K-8 progressive private. If funds dried up, he'd go to Deal, our IB school.

CMI parent and love it! If I couldn't go there, probably YY.

Love this question.

I'm a happy Brent parent. If our children couldn't go to Brent we would want them to go to SWS. After that we would choose CHDS.

DC is in middle school, and we're happy with BASIS - second choice would be Latin.

They are pretty far, distance-wise from one another. Curious where you live that either would be feasible.

My younger kids are at Brent. If we had to switch, I'd send them to SWS or Maury.

My oldest is at Latin, and if Latin disappeared we'd send him to Deal (but its a distant second choice and we're not in boundary for Deal).

^^. And our kids can walk to Oyster now. Later, they can walk/take the metro one stop to WIS for high school.

Because we moved IB specifically for Oyster (and got a lot less house for the money than we would have in the burbs). We wanted to guarantee our kids' spots in a fantastic immersion school. Why pay for WIS when we can send our children to a school we love for what we pay in property taxes? However, WIS is number one on our list for high school.

YY is the only school around, public or private, that offers Mandarin immersion. So if you really want mandarin, it's the only game in town.

We were at private and got into SS. Staying until 6th then probably private again for middle and HS.

We are at ITS. I'd pick Two Rivers.

We are at CMI and love it. If we couldn't go to CMI and Lee were not planning on moving from its current location I would pick Lee, otherwise private.
