He was a sweaty mess. And I really lost respect for him when he said he pushed for his old job back. Lester Holt has been doing a great job the past 6 months and I'm so glad he wasn't ousted to make room for an admitted liar to return to a $10 million/year gig.

no, can't stand either of those guys. but I did hear some sort of remark that he was telling the truth about the incident for a long time....before he started being "inaccurate" about it. miserable sack.

I have a lot of respect for him in general, so I'm glad he came clean. He owned up to his mistakes. (Unlike a certain 60 Minutes reporter on Benghazi or a certain former Senator from NY and former Secretary of State who claimed to be under sniper fire in the Balkans.)
This was his line

If that's the case, then perhaps he doesn't have the cognitive skills to be an anchor. Sorta like Sarah Palin!
