Hello, the picture is from the movie Exodus, in which he played an Israeli freedom fighter. He's wearing the Star of David in that pic as part of his costume.

That doesn't mean he wasn't Jewish (in fact, as has been noted, his father was Jewish). But someone asked if he was wearing a Star of David in the pic, and the correct answer is: yes, but in the pic he's wearing it for a role. He may or may not have worn one off the job.

That was my same thought! The actress in the film looked so average next to him. He was stunning. I saw a little bit of movie with him in it last night, it must have been the same movie.
