Except are little kids making Elvis references in 2015, or is that just an older generation thing? I'm 27, and didn't grow up listening to Elvis, nor did I hear a bunch of Elvis references.

I don't believe that you live in the dmv and don't know an Eleanor or an Ellen or an Eliza etc that goes by ellie. I know all of the above and my son is three. That said, it's cute, I like it.


LOL. I assure you, I do. I'm in Alexandria. I know an Eliza, she goes by Eliza. I seriously don't know a single Ellie.


I know two little girls named Ellie, that's it. No adults. I thought it was somewhat unique (it'll be a nickname anyway) and not along the Eva/Sophia trend. Again, no turning back now.

We have a friend whose daughter is Eleanor and goes by Ellie. We have a boy named Eli and the Hebrew equivalent is Elie and that is what he is called at home.

Ava and Ellie and Olive are all great choices.

I know an Elizabeth who goes by Ellie, Ellen who goes by Ellie, Eleanor who goes by Ellie, Eliza who goes by Ellie, and Elise who goes by Ellie. Elena would also be an option. Not a fan of Ellery.
