They have a good scholarship program too.

FYI, Auburn does not take publicly funded students. All students are private pay/get financial aid/scholarship.

Depending on the jurisdiction, there is a list of SN schools that take publicly funded students. Example DCPS will not pay for Auburn, Commonwealth, Flint Hill, McLean but will provide funding for Lab, Kingsbury, and Ivymount.

Unless OP is looking to pay the tuition themselves, they will probably need to go through due process and for that they are better off hiring a lawyer rather than a educational consultant.

GL!

I believe that Chelsea has mostly kids who have county-paid tuition. But I hear they are a good school! Also Kingsbury, I think.

Not Commonwealth, that would be a rare thing I'm sure. The kids at that school are more "mainstreamed" than a kid at lets say - Auburn, Chelsea, Kingsbury. Kids who have county-paid tuition are usually lower-functioning - usually.

If OP's child is on the spectrum, Ivymount in Rockville (too far away?) is also excellent and runs from age 4-21.
