Oh please. That is so not true. The vacation time I earn as a Fed is 1/2 of what my colleagues get in private industry. If you think its's so great you go work for the gov't. There are some of us who do it for reasons people like you can't fathom as we would make much more in industry. As a former teacher I can also second what a pp said about the work that goes into being out of the classroom for a day. Seriously, are we that petty that we are upset someone might have gotten an extra day off and we didn't? Sad...
