I don't think I'll own many more until I get a breast reduction. I find a dress that fits about once every 5 years. I lost weight recently and the black dress is one of two dresses that fit me. Oddly, I bought them both on eBay.

Not to derail the thread, but I have a similar problem, PP. Sheath dresses are an impossibility for me because of my large bust. I've had more luck with stretchy dresses, especially surplice necklines or wrap styles (which are great because they're adjustable). Still, I would love to wear more dresses and fantasize about having a reduction sometimes.

I'm the first PP. I found a Jones NY fit and flare dress at Lord & Taylor yesterday. They were having a huge clearance sale, only $25! It has some stretch to it and fit. Very exciting!

I have a summer black dress and a winter black dress. I have a few other dresses that are not black. Why? I don't want tons of clothing. I prefer a minimalist closet.

All of them.

Plus one purple dress, a grey one, and a red formal I've never worn.

I like black.

So, do you always wear the same one??"????????.

Yes. Does it matter?

No, but it's odd. People will remember. Unless you are very strategic.

Do you just have few dresses or do you prefer color?

Are you aware of how shallow you post is? People will remember.

Shallow, but also very insecure. It would never occur to me to worry that someone "will remember". My sense of worth is not based on what others might think.

NP: Who cares if people remember?

Why not just go naked if he doesn't care?

3 work black dresses (one with a white stripe). 2 summer dresy black ones and 2 long sleeve ones. I do find that I gravitate more to navy now and black is too stark for me now.
