This is a textbook example of why it is a horrible idea for couples to stay together for the children.

They always think it is in the best interest of the children, but the ironic thing is it ends up destroying them emotionally in the end.

If a marriage is toxic and just not working anymore, the best thing the parents can do for everyone involved is to let each other go.

It is always tough in the beginning of course, but overall it ends up being the right thing to do for everyone.
