What does your employer have to do with it? None of their busunessxwhat information you give to a medical provider.

Um. Did you not call the number on the back of your card before going to the dr? Out of network means you are taking your chances.

Why didn't you go to the ER?

I think the doc "miscoded" with the expectation that no one would call him on it.

I wouldn't bill for a complex lac repair for a tiny lac just below the eyebrow. Maybe the Doc miscoded?
