You sound either bored with your marriage or like you have a sex addiction. You know this is a bad idea and you're toying with it anyway.

No I'm just the guy who does stupid things. The weird thing about this is that my wife actually looks better, if obviously younger, and while we have our issues and a lot of it has to do with time and effort especially after being married for a while I shouldn't throw away a good life and actually potentially a good career because if this came out we as in our firm could be impacted.

You have been putting effort and energy into this relationship, you think you have been walking a fine line but really crossed it somewhere before you mentioned to this woman about being concerned what your wife would think if she read your convos...And the way you seem to just be toying with this person who has admitted to feeling vulnerable doesn't make you a good human being.
Like the poster above said, if it was easy (no kids) I would walk because I would not want to be with someone who was so disrespectful of me and this other woman all at once. Even worse I would assume you would take your affair further, maybe not with this current woman, but it is only a matter of time...

It's forgivable but you'll be in a world of shit for awhile. If you don't have kids, it might not be forgivable. A man I didn't have kids with behaved like this, I would be out.
