My DC attended Beauvoir with kids from NCRC, kids from day care, kids from dumpy and happy church basement preschools, kids from synagogue preschools, kids who didn't go to preschool at all and simply started school in Pr-K. And there was absolutely no difference over the years in how these various kids did.
Honestly, you need to pace yourself. If you're already looking for the "right" preschool you have a long road ahead of you.
You may be right, but a school like NCRC provides unparalleled friendship networking opportunities both for the kids and for their parents.
