Omg. I felt the EXACT same way!! Everyone raves about CDS it but its filthy and has no grass. Small classrooms.

Check out Browne academy's preschool in Alexandria. It's truly amazing. They really know what they are doing. But only for preschool. Leave for K and above.

I really love this school. Their grounds are beautiful and the play areas are the best of any preschool in the area. They also are very much in to what is developmentally appropriate for children who are 2-5. Many schools are not. It is just a really wonderful place for children.

I would have loved to have had the opportunity to send my kids there. I know kids who have attended and it is an amazing experience. It is a daycare but an impressive and cool daycare!

It is DC, you will meet connected parents at most of the preschools.

Well if the parents refer to it as a place for "unparalleled friendship networking opportunities" then I am very glad my kids didn't attend.

+1. It is a good preschool but we pulled our child out of NCRC for St. Columba's, which is a truly wonderful and unique preschool. The teachers are fabulous.
