Make sure you teach her how to do her hair and how to pick out flattering clothes. And find out if she thinks any part of her is awkward and help her see that it's not.

Ugh. I hate this notion that everyone is beautiful. We don't tell our children that everyone is athletic, everyone is good at art, everyone is good at math, or everyone is kind. So why the insistence that everyone is beautiful?
When you love someone, they ARE beautiful.
Yes, if a person is beautiful to you, for whatever reason, why would you not tell them so.
