My wife is constantly falling asleep on the couch after the kids have been put to bed but before they go to sleep. So bedtime definitely has an impact on our sex lives.

She's just a sleepy person - gets about 9 hours of sleep per night. She has also imposed rules on sex over the years where she doesn't want to have sex in the morning, doesn't want to be woken up for sex, and doesn't want to have sex while the kids might interrupt us. So, our window for sex is very narrow.

No. I WFH once a week. We both are out of the home. I would say sex mostly takes 10min. This weekend we had sex Saturday night for awhile...he recovered for about 10min and we had sex again. He then woke with a raging bone Sunday morning and we did it again. This does not happen on a Wednesday night though.

Pretty much sex is as critical as brushing our teeth. My DH hears his friends complain and he knows he's lucky. I've always been very sexual. We don't have any secrets and talk very openly about our fantasies and play many of them out. I'm also bisexual and have a GF that I fool around with sometimes.

No. I just am bisexual. It has nothing to do with 10 min Wednesday sex. I'm actually laying here right now at 3am with insomnia debating weather I should get myself off or wake my sleeping husband and crawl on top. Usually a good orgasm cures the insomnia.

My husband and I have gone through phases of having sex at least every other day and not having sex for months. The kids bedtimes were not what got us going again, although practically speaking it does help to have a half hour in the evenings just to yourselves, but you can make it work even without that if you really want to. For us, communication is the difference. We have to be on good footing on our marriage overall and then in terms of sex, we have to both be interested in what the other person wants. It sounds simple enough but it's where sexless couples are coming up short.

Almost everyone I know has sex once or twice a week, except for one girlfriend, who has it 3-5 times a week. Of course, she doesn't work or volunteer on a regular basis, has a house cleaner and has one school aged child. Given that life, I'd be happy to have sex 3X a week. Nothing else to do!

I'm the DH in a twice a month couple. About once a month, it's great. (Probably around ovulation time if I tracked it). The other time per month, it tends to be more perfunctory. I'm not exactly high drive - I think 3-5x per month would be about right for me.
