I just looked up pinnacle academy. It's literally about a half mile from Ideaventions and it's a STEM focused middle and elementary school. Maybe they should join forces.

again...not needed
The real need is high school.

What good is a 4th-8th school? Where do they expect the kids to go before and after?

+1 We would be interested in one, too.

You couldn't be more wrong.
I'm a private school parent.
And the catty part was you.

If you're looking at Ideaventions Academy, you might like Loudoun School for the Gifted for high school. I'd like to send DC to private for high school but there are really no options that are a good fit. If I had the energy I'd start my own school too!

TJ is not a "great private option". Episcopal is, but it's pretty specific in that it doesn't accept day students.

Go peddle your stupid school idea somewhere else, OP.

OP here. I am not advertising. My kids are age 5 and under and looking into various neighborhoods in VA. We live in Alexandria and ok with elementary schools until middle school. There seem to be a ton of great private high schools but very limited middle schools.

What are some of the great high school only options in VA? I'm asking honestly, because I don't know the schools in the area, so I'm only coming up with Madeira.

So you basically made that nasty comment to reassure yourself that the 30k you're shelling out for junior is worth it? How do you think schools get started--they just sprout out of the ground with 300 kids and a couple dozen teachers?
