Zero divorces. I'm trying to think how many weddings I've been to, and I'm thinking it has to be in the 15-20 range.

One and yeah, I was making mental notes for their future annulment proceedings before the wedding even happened.

20 weddings
3 divorces - my brother and two uncles. Im surprised my brother lasted as long as he did - they were so clearly mismatched and I dont think she loved him - he was besotted.
Other two were also predictable. One uncle is a hard man to live worth (although can charm the pants off anyone) and the other had a huge age difference.
Of the other 17, 3 are in bad marriages - affairs, hardly talk etc
14 are still going strong and there is only one where Im surprised they are still together.

I've been to 20-25 weddings. Only two divorces so far.

I'm in my late 40's, have been to about 15ish weddings and about a third of them are divorced.

It's a higher percentage than I realized before this question made me tally them up.

Sad.

Just one.

Surprisingly, none. And there were a couple I had serious doubts about. I'm still young though! The couples that I know that have divorced were not a surprise.

The only couple I can think of is my aunt/uncle, whose wedding I don't remember but attended as a very small child.

Out of 25 or weddings - 5 in divorce. I would say in all five I saw it coming. I recently di dnot attend a wedding because I don't see it lasting. Oddly the other guests/friends feel the exact same way but no one has told the newlyweds. The bridal party were taking bets on how long it would last.

The bride is shallow and about the grooms looks. Totally runs the relationship. The groom has questionable sexual orientation. And they got pregnant right out of the gate.

Let's see...there was my college friend's wedding where she wore a ton of makeup. By the reception rolled around, I learned from other guests that the heavy makeup was to cover facial bruising - her fiancé hit her in the face the night before the wedding. They divorced within one year.

All told, I can quickly think of about ten couples whose weddings I attended and are now divorced.

I have been to about 18 weddings, including friends and family. Out of that, two have ended in divorce. One was my cousin, the other my first friend to get married. For my friend's wedding, they jumped really fast in their relationship in our early 20s and had a totally emotional wedding where they got married and wrote their own super sappy vows. We all cried and cried. They were in counseling after a year, and separated five years later. My friend then started dating someone else within 6 months, and they broke up after a year. They then got back together, started couples therapy, got engaged eventually, and he called it off a few months before the wedding. We all warned her that being in couples therapy after a year of dating was a terrible sign but he just didn't want to listen.

Three out of 13.

I'm in my 40s. By now, about a third of the weddings I've been to led to divorce. I'll be joining them soon.

One I had my doubts about, but not the others. Only one of those really surprised me, though.
