Same here. Just get a small meal, have water with it.

I take the opposite approach, partly in order to be sure I only have it once or twice a year: I get the three piece meal and eat all of the skin and some of the meat. Later I'm reminded why I ought not to do things like that.


We have seriously and sadly disordered eating in this country if this is how we approach eating.

On an amusing side note. I went in to one here and ordered my meal with Dirty Rice forgetting that they call it "Cajun Rice" and the manager started yelling at me "Our rice is not dirty!"

I suppose it's the subtle difference between Cajun and Creole style dirty rices.

It is not the same, it's toned down for Northern appetites. Go down to N.O. and order the extra spicy. Taste the difference. And in some places in La you can get a beer at Popeyes

They use the same mix, same cooking processes, same equipment, same suppliers, same ... That's what franchises are all about, duplicating an exact product.

I dont eat the skin, but I also eat it like 4-6 times/year so I can't afford to eat the skin. lol
