To me it doesn't really make sense however to blame a religion for terrorism-- it will at most be an excuse not a reason

I am not sure if you are projecting or just aren't very good at understanding. Nowhere did I say I felt sorry for myself. But attitude that Islam is somehow a uniquely evil religion is ridiculous and offensive, given that as much or more evil has been done in the name of Christianity.
Are you a jewis person saying Christianity has caused more wars than Islam, therefore you get to be the best. I suggest you study history more. War is seldom because of religion. Christianity did not cause the American civil war or the revolutionary war, or invent the atom bomb.

That's definitely up for debate. Ask the folks across Asia to India how they felt about being conquered by Muslims.
Probably the same way Africa, much of Asia, and the "New World" felt about being conquered by the Chrisitan West. Countless atrocities justified because it benefitted Christians and only hurt "heathens." Happy Columbus Day!

I do know muslims, and some jews. They never mix. At my last job the jewish person never spoke to the muslim. No hello, no casual comments to even general office conversations
Could you elaborate on that? I've never heard that. For either religion.

I know some Hindus, but don't any who are devout. I loathe fundamentalism and fanaticism of whatever persuasion; white Christian evangelistic Klan members, certain Israelis, ISIS, and Hindu terrorists in India. I even hear there are sword wielding Buddhist monks in Asia. This group too has a great deal in common.
what admirable qualities do religiously devout people have in common?
