I don't know the whole story but I get the impression he received some more information that swayed his decision. I agree with the folks above who said this is none of my business. That's the truth. DH asked my advice because he was so torn about the incident. He was up a lot last night and I really feel his stress. This is a situation that occurred in another part of the country and I have no reason to think that a post on this anonymous board will cause problems.

Because it's an employee issue that HR discussed with the supervisor.
