Agree with all this. Nice choices by the builders. Some not so good ones, but overall nice. I'm more interested in durable finishes that look nice rather than high end finishes for the sake of it at this stage in life.
But those don't look nice - they look like the same shitty builder-grade my friends out in the sticks have in their crappy new builds, too. Some of you will buy anything.

I live in Bethesda and have small children. My house is $1M+ as are all the homes in this neighborhood and most of us have at least one ikea sofa if not entire rooms full of ikea furniture. Not bc we're house poor but bc it's just practical. And like PP said, a $1-1.5M home is an average 3-4 bedroom house. Not a palace worthy of custom furn...esp with toddlers.
