I cannot take this seriously, look for where your child will be happiest. They still have a lot of maturing to do before you have to worry about the top anything. At this age the most important education happens with mom and dad. The preschool is just there to set up an expectation of routine and to help children learn some socialization skills. I personally don't feel it will play a huge role in future academics other than that.

And lets be clear, "top " here does not mean better program or better kids.

Having been through the admissions process and having seen many, many friends go through it, and having seen the make-up of the incoming classes at our top private every year, I beg to differ. A child coming from a NCRC or another of the well-known schools has a MUCH higher chance of getting into a top private than a child coming from a lesser known preschool. Just look at where the NCRC kids end up going. Yes,
The top preschools include NCRC, St. John's, St. Columba's, CCBC, CCUMC and CCPC. Sure, kids from lesser known preschools sometimes get into good private schools, but the majority come from these top preschools.
