Thanks, PP. I just returned from vacation and saw your post. BSA has not reinstated the UUA Religious Award. What has happened is that a bunch of UU Boy Scout Leaders have formed an organization called UU Scouters, have written their own award program and made the emblems available through PRAY.

The organization - UUSO - is recognized by the Boy Scouts - not the UUA national program. The awards listed as Unitarian Universalist in the BSA publication comes from this group.

The curricula is different.
Nothing has changed with the UUA and BSA. There are many fine people in BSA trying to bring about change, including the UU Scouters, but there are fundamental differences that will not be reconciled any time soon.
