Yes, very frustrating when you are on the market and from a family of very tall men so you know what 6'0" looks like from your bare feet.

That said, many women who are 145 claim to be 125.

There is definitely a racial aspect. White guys -- like British/German/Irish white -- tend to be tall. Same with Black guys.

Being in DC, you probably see a lot of mostly white and AA folks.

I'm 5'3", therefore have no problem with dating short men. They're not "consolation prizes" for the undesirable. Nor are fat women. Plenty of attractive fat women and men who like them.
