Italian subs at Marchones.
I was underwhelmed by Woomi Garden, personally, but lots of folks disagree.
Now, if I could get Indian takeout in Wheaton, I'd be in heaven.
I never understood this either. We spent 10 years very close to the SS/Wheaton border and there was nowhere to get good Indian. Closest place for good Indian now is in White Oak.

Full Key in Wheaton for Chinese El Pollo Rico for Peruvian rotisserie chicken
If you want a sit down place, try Woomi Garden for Korean BBQ.
Sorry, but I would hardly call the Parkway Deli "very" close to Wheaton, it's a good 15 minutes away!
Also, it's only good if you don't know better / aren't from NY

Reminds me of when my family lived off of Grubb Road when I was born and this area was still pretentiously referred to as "East Chevy Chase." Just a hop, skip and a jump from Wheaton.
I live almost across from the Deli, and two things:1) it's at least 10 minutes to Wheaton, in no traffic. Not exactly a hop skip and jump to get take out. 2) Technically, West of Grubb Road is Chevy Chase, at least according to the Post Office (east is Silver Spring). I concur it's not what everyone thinks of when they say CC, but it is what it is.
Oh, please. It can take 20 minutes to find a legal parking space at Ruan Thai. I could have taken the shortcut to the deli and already be sipping my coffee in that time. You all have a lot to learn about navigating around this area.
Unless you are handicapped or otherwise can't walk, this should not be the case. There is often street parking on the same block and if that isn't available, there's a massive county parking lot 2 blocks away. When we take my mom (who does not walk well) we drop her off at Ruan Thai and continue on to the lot. It takes us less than 5 minutes to walk it. If we're getting takeout, we do the same. It's not that hard.
Also, Parkway Deli sucks. But that is another issue.
