For me, it was caused by supplements. Fiber helped take care of the problem.

I did. I had THD surgery for my internal hemherroids and I had the external skin tags removed during one procedure.
Honestly? It sucked. It hurt. I was popping painkillers like there was no tomorrow. Pooping was scary and bloody and painful. I moaned like a cow in labor. I thought I'd made a terrible mistake and wished I could turn back time and never have the surgery.
But...
Here I am six weeks later. I am completely healed and I have no hemherroids, no pain, my butt looks like just a butt again. I'm glad I did it. But it was kind of horrible.
Having said that, I may have had a particularly bad experience because I had grade III 'roids, and two different procedures done at once. I know not everyone has such a rotten time. Some people are back to normal in a few days. I was miserable for a week, cranky for another week, and then I was okay.

Ugh. Np here and I think I am in the same boat. Saw a specialist last week who referred me to a colon/rectal surgeon to look at the skin tag that I have in addition to a hemeroid (internal, I believe). In the meantime, I have some steroid suppositories. All and all a pleasant predicament. From what I had read online the surgery didnt sound that horrible but now I will adjust my expectations appropriately.

Ugh no. We knew something was wrong because the toilet started bubbling up after you flushed it, then it stopped flushing. So we called this company, they came out and assured us it was fixed. The next morning, DH had to rescue DS from the shower: he used the toilet and flushed and it backed up into the tub. He calls the plumbers back and tells them what happens and it's probably a drain issue. They send a new plumber out and didn't tell him anything except that the toilet was backed up. Thinking it was something simple, he came out without a snake or a camera. This was Friday. We had to do without a toilet until they could come out with a camera on Monday.
So yeah. I don't blame the guys that did the work. I blame dispatch for not passing along an accurate picture of what was going/what the first guy did already.
