Huh? It's not about loving or not loving the comics. It is annoying that someone posts the same comics over and over again. Very original, though, for you to ask if I've got my period.

The person uses Nick Galifianakis' cartoons to convey a point, just as others use words and postings to convey theirs. It's a valid form of communication. I find your complaints about the cartoons to be annoying, but I'm not appealing to Jeff to censor you. If it annoys you, just ignore them. As has been mentioned, they are not the same comics. Nick has been creating the cartoons for Carolyn Hax's daily column for many years so there are thousands of his comics. He creates them for a specific column and topic, but his humorous view of human foibles is often spot on for a number of situations as this poster has found. Stop whining. I for one would prefer to continue to see them.

Perhaps you should reread my OP. I never asked for anyone to be censored. I asked questions about the person posting them and said I found them annoying. It's my opinion; get over it. If my opinion annoys you, take a tip from your post: stop whining and ignore my post.

Then what exactly was your purpose to even post to Website Feedback? What is it that you would like Jeff to do? You simply stated that the comics annoy you and suggested that the person posting them was the artist. I'll be honest that I read your OP as a request to stop the person from doing it. Did you have another motive or idea that did not censor a person's personal expression? Also, plenty of people post photos to the threads. I see them all the time and simply scroll through them as I am reading the thread - it's not that hard to ignore them. Why do these particular comics bother you so much that you felt the need to question them with Jeff?

My purpose was to ask questions because I was curious about the poster. Jeff answered them. Case closed. I don't want Jeff to 'do' anything about the poster I asked about. I did not ask or suggest Jeff do anything about the poster. Again, reread my OP.

There are a lot of posters that annoy me. Comic guy is not one of them.

On the surface I don't give a rats ass about the dumb cartoons in and of themselves, but I find the concept of synthesizing human behavior/sentiment down to a cartoon hilarious. Wish my boss and coworkers could communicate ALL issues this way.

Imagine not having the need to talk/write/respond/argue with internets, but instead to simply post an image?

Damn, I've got to start using less words in life. I can almost see a Lifetime movie about how over time with his/her cartoon posts this poster has changed my outlook on life.... and then we meet and fall in love... even though he literally looks like Jon Arbuckle/Dr Liz Wilson in real life.

I love Nick's comics (and Hax's columns) and think they're a great addition to most threads. Carry on, comic poster!
