PP, you are more entertaining than anything on TV right now. I can tell you just posted twice trying to be different people. I know, you will reply "is there only one poster on DCUM" or some shit like that. I think that's what you said in that other thread about tutoring. You are so funny, even if predictable.
Anonymous wrote:WTF? What the hell are you referring to now? I think you ARE the same poster! Your postings are becoming erratic like the that other poster was. I think you are quite delusional about this whole tutoring/prepping thing and your kids. Go on, repeat "delusional" in your posting in reference to me. This is your M.O. It's just a tit-for-tat at this point, really, but I know you won't be able to resist one last "well you must be delusional" quack. Actually, you crack me up.
We now know she is cracked up by her own admission. I wonder who she is referring to? ...what year?

I followed your logic about the need to reconsider HGC because my DC wouldn't want year round school and would prefer lazy summer days. Clearly, you cannot follow your own logic.
Are you the same poster from another thread regarding tutoring that kept mentioning something about "lock and key"? You sound like it, and I didn't understand that whole piece of garbage logic in that thread, either. And I know you are trying to sound really intelligent with the "mutation in the appropriate piece of DNA" crack, but really, you just sound pitiful. I think you like to think that your kids just adore year round school to make yourself feel better about torturing your kids, or to brag to other parents about how your kid just loves to learn or some shit like that.

Actually, you crack me up.Anonymous wrote:Why would we reconsider? DC is smart. Got in with no big effort and certainly no prep classes or prep tests. Maybe your kids need to reconsider if they need year round school to keep up.
I do not follow your logic. Should we stop year-round soccer based on your reasoning (...or lack thereof). I hope your kids didn't inherit their intelligence from you but were fortunate for a mutation in the appropriate piece of DNA.
Anonymous wrote:Is this for real? People take prep classes to get into the HGC and Magnets. Pathetic. Your kid is either smart enought to get in or not. They may as well learn that at some point. And no, I have no sour grapes. DC didn't even apply.
Signed,
Parent of a rising 4th grader who will be in compact math next year who thinks parents in this area need to CTFO.
But, my kid is already in the HGC and will participate in this program in the summer. I do not follow your logic.

Anonymous wrote:Prep classes would be torture to my kids. Lazy summers = lots of days at the pool, a couple of weeks of fun summer camps, probably lots of electronic time, a trip to the west coast and playdate with friends.
Perhaps your kids may want to reconsider the HGC and stay pool side year round if math and English are torture.
