Yes, women hit on married men no matter where they live or what the demographics. Married men are easier to deal with. You don't have to do their laundry, cook their meals, or raise their children. Married me are more attentive and fun. They listen to you, take you nice places and are generally fun. It's not necessarily about money or power, yeah it can be especially in this city (power is a great aphrodisiac).

This is a load of crap. Seriously, say there are 12 single women for every 10 single men. So in a room of 22 people hypothetically two people would not have a partner. Big deal. I went out a lot in my 20s and very early 30s. I saw married men hitting on women and I was hit on all the time. There were probably women hitting on the married men too but nobody ever confided in me about it and I didn't see it happening in that direction. The men were the ones chasing the young girls.
