Please stop calling these people hipsters. Just because someone lives in the city, has a trendy name and wears glasses doesn't mean they are a hipster.

I am so confused by the white woman who grew up in Florida, now lives in Southern CA and named her two daughters India and Karis. The first is weird and the second is weird AND ugly.

I think you do not understand the difference between a trendy, popular baby name and a "hipster" baby name...

Maybe Sadie is both? I don't know, I didn't put it on the list, I was just reacting to someone else's post. All I know is there are too many of them - and Sophies too. (That's definitely not hipster, just trendy.)

I think the phrase OP was looking for was "quirky yet classic hipster names" not "classically-hipster".
