If you're not a hipster mom, or if your child is not a toddler, or if your child is a toddler but wears it in the regular pool, then it's ok for you to call it a rash guard.


Well, I'm definitely not a hipster mom, since I was never a hipster anything, so I guess I can keep calling it a rash guard. And being grateful that it's one less area of the body of my anti-lotion toddler that I have to apply sunscreen to.

It's easy to get this on the stomach because you coat your board in wax for grip. Obviously that amount of grip can cause abrasions to your torso when you slide up and down on the board.

Why "hipster" moms specifically? Are they the ones who care about their kids getting sunburns?
