Maybe the bad food is a strategy to turnover tables faster-it's now only the "3rd place" until you get hungry.

As for Whole Foods, I don't buy that stuff very often, but nevertheless, I dearly hope that isn't true.
They used to be. Back in the day we got fresh pastries every morning and had to throw out the leftovers every PM. This was late 90s.
