So yes, it is rude.

1) What happens if the same person puts their dog shit into YOUR trashcan four weeks in a row? Is that a message? I should also mention this individual lives 5 houses down.
2) I first became annoyed by this because I sadly had to retrieve an important receipt from my own trash. Sucks I know but you would have a poor argument for saying that's my own problem. Sometimes I also add another bag before morning. I shouldn't have to run into smelly dog feces the moment I pull off the lid.
3) Someone mentioned that the can is public property. I had to buy mine, so that is a bunch of BS.
4) This is illegal in some states/municipalities. And if its not in yours, it should be.
I support others arguments that YOUR pets feces is YOUR responsibility, no matter how I feel about pets or pet owners. If there is a scrap of garbage on or near my property and someone throws it away, I might actually be thankful. But this is quite the opposite.
If you think otherwise, congratulations, you are one of the well over 50% of people in this country who make things worse for everyone else and need a donkey kick in the head. I hope you have a horrible day.

There are special bins for dog poop which I'd rather were used, but I'd much rather find bags in my trash than my son finding poop in the grass where he plays.
