I drink mine as many posters have suggested - no sugar, with a splash of half and half or the highest fat milk we have on hand. But I hVe had it with soy milk and I agree that is sweet so that might be a good place to start - soy milk and no added sweetener. I also agree with the advice to try a flavored coffee (NOT syrup added, but flavored beans), because that will amp the flavor factor for a coffee newbie - although that is offensive to me for an a.m. coffee
