Just how many trillion in debt is the U.S.?
you really are a real tea party republican.
It is rather disingenuous for Republicans to complain about the result of their policies for almost 30 years. Deregulation and tax cuts did exactly what was expected. Let businesses run wild and recklessly and transfer all the wealth to the top 5% at the detriment of the middle class. Too bad it took a massive recession and financial collapse for people to see it. Took a long time for Greenspan to finally admit free markets didn't work. Greenspan, 82, acknowledged under questioning that he had made a “mistake” in believing that banks, operating in their own self-interest, would do what was necessary to protect their shareholders and institutions. Greenspan called that “a flaw in the model ... that defines how the world works.”
Bush and his cronies left the economy in disaster and huge deficits and huge debt. Obama saved it in spite of everything the congressional tea baggers tried to do. The republicans are completely unable to propose any budget and stick with it. Their approach , shutdown the government, but of course when push comes to shove, run away and hide. Frank was part of that also.
I was life long republican until Bush took us to the edge with his spend and spend policies. After Bush, Romney, and McDonnell I don't know how anyone can ever vote republican in virginia again. You really have to be willfully ignorant of the last 10 years of history.

Anonymous wrote:"which second amendment guarantees the right to machine guns and automatic weapons?"
That's like saying the First Amendment doesn't support the internet and instant messaging; only quill and ink.
We also recognize another important limitation on the right to keep and carry arms. Miller said, as we have explained, that the sorts of weapons protected were those “in common use at the time.” 307 U. S., at 179. We think that limitation is fairly supported by the historical tradition of prohibiting the carrying of “dangerous and unusual weapons.”

I hope so! The liberal Republicans and the Democrats are spending us into oblivion.
Anonymous wrote:"are you another NRA supporter."
I support the Constitution and there happens to be the Second Amendment in there near the top of the Bill of Rights.

OTOH, I hope the Dems win the seat.
John Faust was a total do-nothing as the Dranesville Supervisor, who sucked up to wealthy real estate developers. I would be happy if he were gone from the BOS although I expect Comstock will win. Wolf is a decent human being.
Agree with your thoughts on Faust. Comstock is the best candidates for one who will serve in the style of Wolf. She and her family grew up in my church and so I have run into them in many occasions. She will serve us well. Let's just get her elected first!
