They sought them out. They didn't passively receive them. Then they archived them. Then, in cases where faces were obscured, they made the effort to label the individual photographs with names. That is pretty devious. And felonious.

Not devious, maybe innovative. The laws are all jacked up. Those boys could legally go to the girls house and view them naked and it is legal, but if they view a digital image of them it is pirn. That does not make any sense. They could also have sex with these,girls and it is legal but having a digital image of them is illegAl. Still, does not make sense.

Admittedly, I don't know him, but he does not sound like a "wonderful kid." What wonderful kid would violate the trust of his "friends" like that? He sounds like a misogynist to me. If a girl (or woman) gives leaves an opening, a boy (or man) should exploit it? Is that what we teach our sons? How about a little respect for women (even if they don't respect themselves)?

The girls are teenagers making dumb decisions and this 16 year old boy is also a teenager making dumb decisions. What the girls did wasn't a completely private thing. They sent the pictures to others and you don't know their intent. I think both sides made very poor decisions, but it's always interesting that the teenage girls get a pass for poor decisions while teenage boys are demonized. Maybe girls should be held to the same standard. When they send nude pictures of themselves, the picture is child pornography and they should be charged with distributing pornography too. Maybe that would stop the craziness on both sides. The only ones blameless In a situation like this would be any girls who didn't willingly pose for naked pictures. I feel bad for all the girls, but if the boys have to be held accountable, so should the girls. Setting strict penalties on BOTH sides is the only way this will stop. If the picture is child pornography, then anyone ( including the girls) that send them to anyone else should be held accountable.

He's deceiving you all. My parents, friends' parents, family friends, etc all thought I was the most wholesome and responsible teenager in the world. I was up to all sorts of nonsense and none of them had a clue.

No, our parents need to work harder to teach boys what it means to have respect for women and to teach girls what it means to have respect for themselves and their bodies (If any of these girls knowingly allowed nude or explicit pictures to be taken of them. It's a big if and I hope they did not). OP, if the only problem you see is some of these kids being on a sex registry shame on you. The boys' names, especially the 18 year old, will come out and that does not bother me in the least.

If you think these pictures were taken against the girls' wills, you are likely mistaken. I have a 7th grader at a middle school in FCPS and I have already heard plenty of stories of girls texting nude photos to boys.

A 7th grader taking a naked pic of themselves for another 7th grader is different. The photo itself may be child pornography, but if the photo is willingly taken of ones self and willingly shared with another child there is no pornographer to report.
