Pan's Labyrinth -- THE saddest movie I've ever seen. I saw it in the theater, and all these years later just thinking about it makes me cry.

Yes. The book is so sad too. MTM was such a bitch in that movie. So different than her normal persona, but utterly convincing.

March of the Penguins. The dead baby penguins and the moms being so sad that they tried to steal other baby penguins. I have to say, though, I watched it right after I gave birth. Probably not a good time to watch something about any babies dying.
