It's sad because there is some good sense, but there's so much nonsense mixed in I can't take it anymore.

The best thing she could do as "her kid's Mom" is to get off the radio, or better yet, never been on it.

No one famous is doing their kid any favors.

I listen to her everyday on my drive home. She makes me laugh and cringe.

No, the truth is what it is. What hurts most of the time is other people's judgement when they have no business judging.

Oh my....I had to youtube her since it's been years since I heard her. She is vile. I guess I'm one of those defensive bitches because I think people who have made a mistake in the past (or maybe just got a shitty deal in life) deserve a shot at happiness.

I don't always agree with her but she is consistent with her message and tells it like it is. I usually think the callers are the biggest idiots.

I can honestly say if this was my sociopathic BIL, I would not blink. Some people you separate from. Period

My parents are hoarders. My mother hasn't let me in the house in 24 years. If I called the fire department she would never talk to me. So we continue like this. I would hope no one would think ill of me if both parents died 3,500 miles away. There's no way I would ever know. Their own grandchildren have never seen the inside of their home. You just can't sit in judgment in some of these situations.

PP, living 2 miles away is vastly different than across the country. FYI, my mother is a hoarder too. We have a relationship, but, no, my kids have never been to her house.

Just read about her on Wikipedia (I know, I know), but she really seems to be an all around loser of a human being.

Can't stand the woman- hard to take advice from someone with her murky past and her treatment of her mother is inexcusable.

Amazed people still listen to her!

There are hateful recluses out there who want nothing to do with other people. There are kind seniors who interact with others only a few times a week. Someone dying while living alone and not being discovered for days isn't a reflection on poor treatment from family members.

Just looked this up: she was in there for two months. Just a few miles from her daughter's office. I'm sorry, that is inexcusable. She is her MOTHER.

What if her mother wanted nothing to do with her? The mother had a right to cut off LS so then, what? How is LS at fault? I'd say the neighbors who noticed mail piling up or the postal worker coming veery day was more neglectful if you want to get technical.
