International travel once a year with 3 kids. $10-15K.

Flattering designer jeans, a good purse every few years, an international vacation once a year, WF groceries, tasting menu restaurants for every special occasion (birthday, anni, etc). To compensate, my house is decorated with treasures from Craigslist and my basics (bras, PJs, make-up, tees, workout clothes) are from Target.

That's a necessity, not a splurge!

Private school is our biggest splurge. After that, food (only shop at WF), wine (DH's insistence, not mine), nicer cars than necessary.

Unless you live in a cheap house (which I doubt) sounds like you splurge on most everything!

Kids' activities. Added up DC's tennis costs last year (lessons, equipment, tournaments, etc.) and it was way more than I even care to type out.

Not splurging much these days but I'm thinking I need a good hair cut. Haven't had my hair cut in almost a year so I think I've earned it!

I know it's totally plebe but you really should check out Costco. I picked up a metric shitton of organic strawberries for the same price as a small container at whole foods. They even have nice buffalo mozzarella and genuine imported prosciutto di parma. Hell I even found Marcona almonds.

My daughter's violin lessons and now I am back to my natural hair color because being blond was too expensive...
Once a year stay at a nice resort with the kids...
A good steak from whole foods (ask the butcher to cut it 2" thick) is a once a month or so splurge... Copper river salmon when it comes in, again by husband on the grill...
Must be dinner time!

Very cool. I haven't seen many but I liked watching the professional ballroom dance competitions on tv.
