I am surprised the science teachers who go every year don't start refusing to attend.

Someone please tell me that some staff member or teacher has to care. They are probably privately flipping out over bed bugs and lice. Who wants to deal with any of that if you don't have to?

A child was bitten and the staff there confirmed the presence of bedbugs by finding an insect. November 2014.

My child's class had them in March of 2014. I would not have known it however if two of my child's friends were not affected. The school did not follow up with any information to the 6th grade parents. I would send it out to the list serve of your school at this point.

Actually, they can live for two years without feeding.
