Perhaps OP was taking adderall recreationally and wanted feedback from us.

If your husband has ADHD, the Adderall would not work on him like speed. My DS takes this for ADHD, he get's focused, calm and sometimes even falls asleep.

I suggest speaking with your physician or getting a second opinion before proceeding with this medication.

Different types of this medication can work better or worse for individuals, so factor that in too. My DS took adderall tablets (no XR at the time) and was put on Concerta (XR Ritalin). He was completely out of control, wouldn't eat all day and then would eat ravenously at 9 at night. He was nine. We couldn't switch back to Adderall fast enough. Since then he has done fine on XR Adderall.
