SLU is where Catholic kids who can't get into Notre Dame go. Lots of kids from Chicago. Academics aren't decent. SLU has an excellent reputation in the Midwest and it has good grad school admissions.

It's right in the middle of a dicey area of St. Louis. I would worry about campus security in a way that I don't worry about it at Washington University. It's just a little more rundown and dangerous in that area.

The upside is that it's in the middle of St. Louis. It's close to the Loop and South Grand and Washington Avenue. There are tons of things to do and see and eat in that area. I love going to those places, I just don't know if I would want to live on SLU's campus.

It has gorgeous sports facilities. Campus is so-so. Prior President (Father Biondi) had obsession with terrible, lawn art style sculpture and that shit is everywhere.

It's the flagship state university for MN. It's in Minneapolis so there's tons of shopping and music and things to do. Campus is very safe and it's beautiful. The Mississippi River goes right down the middle; there's a pedestrian bridge across it joining both halves of the campus.

It *is* cold, though.
