Because they just need something to whine about. Honestly, it is so stupid to even show your kids you don't care about their education. I can understand the kids are going to whine but it is so sad to see grown adults (who normally complain about not seeing enough teaching) complain about a few extra days of school to make up the REQUIRED 180 days of school.

Not necessarily. A lot of people are clueless on when to use to or too. I got this drilled into me in middle school.
Phones and computers make it easier for people to make mistakes, but you can't declare every to/too/two "a typo."

Why don't your homeschool or send your kid to private then? I guess if you feel this way and STILL send your kid, you must be okay with using them for free daycare and by that point, the extra week is a full week of free daycare. So again, what is the point of your argument?
