why no beans? they are high fiber and high protein!

Just because something has fewer calories does not necessarily mean it's better for you. I'd much rather eat a Chipotle salad (just meat, lettuce, salsa, veggies, and guac as PP suggested) than a kids hamburger and fries any day. It's much less processed, has good fat rather than gross saturated fats and empty carbs, and will keep me satisfied much longer.

If you calculate the amount of calories of the Chipotle bowl with veggis, beans, rice, guacamole and no cheese, sour cream is around 500 which is perfect for a lunch. No much argument for "tons of calories" and much healthier than anything McDonalds.

Yes better but shocked its only 500 calories. That's great. However it is a calorie game. If you eat 3000 calories of strawberries and kale everyday you will get fat. It's a calories game. I do completely understand healthy real foods are better than processed.

There are plenty of Subway sandwiches which are healthy, as long as you leave off the mayo, guac, etc.

Chipotle, get a bowl but skip the sour cream, cheese, and rise.

Five Guys little hamburger is 450 calories. Skip ketchup (full of sugar) and cheese.

I eat out a fair amount due ot necessity, and watch my calories. NEVER get fries -- they'll double the calorie coujnt of your meal basically. Hamburgers are fine, just watch the toppings and skip the cheese.

I get hamburgers with lettuce, tomato, mustard, onions. Mustard has no calories basically.

In the game of life, a tablespoon of ketchup and a slice of cheese are not diet destroyers. Geez.

If trying to cut fat, eliminating cheese, especially the fake crap, is a great thing to do.

Better off skipping the bun.

If you are reducing carbs, I agree. But I said if you are trying to cut fat (as in eating fat, since the burger already has a lot of fat). Also, I was referring to the fake cheese places most fast food places use that probably have little protein or calcium. Its just an orange glob of empty fat and calories. I'd rather eat bread. I agree real cheese is good to eat (and yummy).

I miss the Chick Fil-a southwest salad. All the other salads are too sweet or cheesy for me.

I love chic filet salads. Probably high fat, but I just limit the amount of dressing and sesame seeds I add (the one I get comes with sesame seeds).

Wendy's salads... but get rid of the cheese. (Depending on which one you choose.) Bonus: they come in large and small sizes.

Peruvian chicken and veggies or black beans (no rice, no yuca)

A little burger from Five Guys is under 500 calories (if you watch your toppings). You can also get it bunless, or wrapped in lettuce.

Load it up with veggies, and it's not a bad way to go.

Safeway, giant, whole food, etc have hot soup, sandwich to order at the deli, and a salad bar. Also most have parking.
