Many students go to school on foot and let's be realistic it's going to be very dangerous.
My street was plowed earlier but I saw two cars skidding earlier this afternoon.
Holy crap. Do you remember what grandparents used to say. "We walked over 2 miles to school in the cold and snow every day and didn't complain!!" I feel like I am turning into one of them because of all the helicopter mommies not wanting their kids at a bus stop for 5min in the "polar vortex" (gasp, what scary words!!)
And now those 4-6 inches are too much for little Mary to walk to school. How come DCPS barely get off then?
MCPS - it is winter. We live in an area that snows just like 30+ other states in this nation. Get your act together. You knew about this snow 5 days ago. You couldn't plan for it? So frustrating.
