I have no regrets and plan to do the same for my other two kids (if they get in). With that said, the teacher makes the classroom so the experience really depends on the teachers. We were lucky to have good teachers in AAP.

GBW AAP is good but over crowded;
The best part is teachers give all the instructions and make the kid independent to finish a task. Since all the kids are in the same level, they benefit with each others company.
We are very happy with the AAP program.

Not 2E ourselves but our DC attended Churchill Road AAP with several 2E kids. It's good for them - but I think that Longfellow the Middle School AAP is much more demanding. Most 2E kids I can think of scaled back on all AAP classes at MS level and did not apply to TJ.

GBW AAP also has so-so teachers (good but nothing to rave about) and is overcrowded - in our limited experience.

We have had DCs in both programs. Moved GE DC to private.
