However, I do realize she is a fraud.
Speaking of food bloggers, I LOVE Iowa Girl Eats, her recipes are great.
BTW, NONE of these bloggers writes their own material. A good friend of mine (a SAHM) works on the side as a ghost writer for a few notable bloggers. I't all a scam when you hit the big leagues.

That "lodge" project was actually the television studio Drummond built for her Food Network show. It's deceptions like this that have turned many people away. She blogged about the "lodge" for months, pretending she was redecorating a guest house, when in fact, she knew all along the place would be used for her upcoming show. Even now, she's teasing her readers about some building renovation in Pawhuska, OK. Oh puhleeeeez, tell me how many "little ol' ranch" wives can afford a new building in the nearby town? Again, she's pretending she doesn't have a clue what it's going to be used for. Nevermind, that she had to get bldg. permits, submit blueprints, etc. prior to construction. Sad, how many gullible people buy into all this.
I find it so so odd that people get that worked up about this.
Anonymous wrote:Wow. I am one of the gullible ones who thought she was legit. Oh well. All I know about the pioneer woman is that the two recipes of Hera that I've made -- lasagna and a creamy chicken soup -- we're both completely inedible. And my standards aren't that high.

Ha, she does cook up some unappetizing food. I have never seen her make anything I would consider making. Another one is Trisha Yearwood. Some of her recipes seem like they came off the back of a bisquick box or a can of soup.
