OMG. I knew before the thread even opened what you would say. My husband is beside himself every time she's on the screen. I don't mind it but he is completely skeeved out by it!

I did notice it. But didn't think it was such a big deal. Won't let it stop me from watching the show!

The point of the show is the principal character talking to the audience. Try to read some Shakespeare, and you understand the concept of an actor talking to the audience. You might start with "MacBeth" to understand the plot line for "House of Cards."

You could also start with the original BBC production of House of Cards with Ian Richardson. This cheap American knock-off is not worth wasting your time with. No one does satire like the Brits. FWIW, I am American and certainly no Anglophile. Can you tell I am still smarting over the American remake of The Office and Antiques Roadshow?

+1, minus the grammar and cultural issues of the PP. The UK version is far superior.

Or Sex and the City! SJP did that in the first season

Please tell me you are not comparing Sex and the City to Shakespeare

I hope you never have kids who become disfigured due to birth defect, sickness, or accident. You sound kind of shallow. Robin is gorgeous!
